The Board of Directors met Sunday night at the National Shooting Complex. Some good information was put out, and some good decisions were made. First, the future of the National Shooting Complex seems secure. Texas law has changed to make it harder for the city of San Antonio to annex the range property. One of the planned improvements, a new clubhouse, was deferred because of a requirement for more fire hydrants. Other improvements to the property are in process. Changes to the by-laws were made to bring them into agreement with Texas law. Also a change was made to the rules to allow a High School Senior to continue shooting as a Junior after his/her 18th birthday. This regularizes the concurrents for people whose birthday falls between Nov 1 and Dec 31. Please speak with your National Director for further details.
